Tabac Original underlines a well-groomed and elegant appearance & provides a bracing finish to a perfect shave. It revitalises, cools and refreshes the complexion, soothing and stimulating after shaving. Made by Mäurer & Wirtz in Germany since 1959.

How to use

Splash a liberal amount of Tabac into the palm of your hand and apply over the shaved area to seal the pores with a cool & fresh sensation..

Grooming Tip

Always rinse your skin with lukewarm water after shaving and then a final cold rinse to start the process of closing the pores. Finally apply the aftershave to seal the pores and start the healing process.

Alcohol, Water (aqua), propylene glycol, fragrance (parfum), PEG-40 hydrogenated caster oil, hydroxycitronellal, citronellol, coumarin, alpha-isomethyl ionone, limonene, linalool, benzyl salicylate, isoeugenol, lactic acid, butylphenyl methylpropional, amyl cinnamal, benzyl benzoate, geraniol, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyhde, eugenol, sodium hydroxide, yellow 5 (CI 19140), red 4 (CI 14700), Blue 1(CI 42090). 

 

Tabac

Tabac is a brand of fragrance that was created by MÇÏurer & Wirtz in 1959 (owners of the 4711 brand). With a floral fragrance and containing a blend of bergamot, neroli, lavender and is accented with tobacco, oakmoss and vanilla, it is available as l'eau de toilette, cologne and aftershave, although the fragrance reportedly differs a little between them- being more floral in the eau de toilette. Tabac is stocked by MAGUIRE'S Barbershop as it is regarded as a high quality shaving soap much much in demand by wet-shavers. The soap is Tallow based and has the same fragrance as the aftershave.
