A few years ago, I discovered that the absolute top double-edged blade for me was the legendary Personna Platinum blades (a.k.a. Israeli Reds). Nothing else came near them for comfort and reliability (I hardly ever get nicked with a Personna). I still use my dwindling stock of Personna's, despite their being harder and harder to find. I came across the Bolzano's on this website and saw that they're rated by the Italians, who are notoriously picky about their shaving products. So I decided to try them. After a week of shaving with a Bolzano, I would say they are comparable in quality and comfort to the Personna's. Good to know there's a decent alternative out there when the wicked anti-semitic BDS policies eventually prevent me sourcing my precious Personnas.

The Bolzano blades work well I found with a shaving butter. I have been shaving now best part of 40 years and these are up the top,compared to other blades also good value for money.

I've been using these blades pretty much exclusively for the last couple of years ... I tried variety packs of a mixture of differnt brands , but for consistancy and feel these Bolzano blades are supreme. I use them in a really old ( 1940s ) vintage Gilette which is light and simple and works so well my sone asked me to get him one too . It and these blades are his go-to shaving solution daily .. Love them .. excellent , scared to run out ..lol

Not only sharp but very smooth shave.
