Tabac is a brand of fragrance that was created by Mäurer & Wirtz in 1959 (owners of the 4711 brand). With a floral fragrance and containing a blend of bergamot, neroli, lavender and is accented with tobacco, oakmoss and vanilla, it is available as l'eau de toilette, cologne and aftershave, although the fragrance reportedly differs a little between them- being more floral in the eau de toilette.
Tabac is stocked by MAGUIRE'S Barbershop as it is regared as a high quality shaving soap much much in demand by wet-shavers. The soap is Tallow based and has the same fragrance as the aftershave.
