In 1843, Henry Roberts, a British chemist & herbalist, founded the pharmaceutical business H. Roberts & Co., and began producing pharmaceutical and body care products for the British community in Florence.
Manetti & Roberts was formed at the dawn of the 20th century when H. Roberts & Co. merged with his florentine competitor, Lorenzo Manetti.
The success of the iconic Acqua alle Rose rosewater toner, with its distinctive blue bottle, gave way to an ever developing facial skincare line based on Rose extracts, for a glowing and revitalised skin.
