The Semogue 2040 HD Silvertip Badger Shaving brush is a great looking brush with contemporary European styling. It features a subtle convex circular solid acrylic handle, which features an eye catching transparent two tone design and is available in stunning black with crystal clear contrast. The handle carries the unmistakable 'Excelsior' badge and is topped with a 'silver' collar, which holds the densely filled, sought after Semogue Silvertip Badger loft. The HD designates High Density and signifies that this loft is of an ultra high density compared to the non-HD model. A beautiful looking brush with excellent performance. Hand Made in Portugal.
How to use
The brush bristles should be wet (not soaking) before use. Load the loft with soap or cream and apply to the areas to be shaved, using a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving.
We strongly recommend the following aftercare for your brush; When finished always rinse the brush under hot water (especially at the base of the bristles) to remove any remaining soap residue which can result in damage to the bristle and cause early shedding of the loft. The brush should then be stored loft facing down to dry. This can be achieved by using a shaving brush stand and prevents the bristles rotting at the base due to moisture.
Recommended for
Both shaving creams and shaving soaps and all skin types. (NB. Silvertip Badger is a softer loft and may need more effort with a hard soap).
Grooming tip
When applying a shaving lather to your skin always use strong circular movements to help soften and raise the hairs and prepare the skin for shaving.
