The Simpsons Chubby range is considered by many to be the finest shaving brush range available today. A typical Simpsons design with a 'faux ivory' resin handle and the classic Simpsons label. However, the 'Chubby' name on the handle promises more than a typical Simpsons brush. The loft is incredibly dense and filled with an excellent grade Super Badger hair, which provides a firm yet unbelievably soft brush, perfect for both soaps and creams and good exfoliation of the skin prior to shaving. The loft has incredible water retention to ensure a luxurious lather.  A substantial handle, straight in design with a slightly overlapping base which has a subtle flare to perfectly finish off the classic look. The handle is lathe turned pure resin with a 'faux ivory' finish, reminiscent of the most traditional of shaving brushes. The Chubby range is a truly luxury brush to be aspired to and the Chubby Super is a truly magnificent model, rightly deserving of its reputation. SIZE 3 (large)

How to use

The brush bristles should be wet (not soaking) before use. Load the loft with soap or cream and apply to the areas to be shaved, using a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving.

We strongly recommend the following aftercare for your brush; When finished always rinse the brush under hot water (especially at the base of the bristles) to remove any remaining soap residue which can result in damage to the bristle and cause early shedding of the loft. The brush should then be stored loft facing down to dry. This can be achieved by using a shaving brush stand and prevents the bristles rotting at the base due to moisture.

Grooming tip

Always store your shaving brush with the loft/bristles poiting down, to allow excess moisture to drain away naturally. This prevents damage caused by damp and helps to extend the life of your brush.
