The #849 in dark coloured Pure Badger is an exceptional value and a very popular member of the Vulfix line. The Vulfix #849 compares favorably to the best brushes from other makers selling for more than three times the price! The gold circlet that separates the bristle from the handle is a delicate accent, and complements gold razors and fixtures. The heavy cream coloured handle is lathe turned and polished by hand to a brilliant lustre. The excellent water holding capacity of this quality brush means you can quickly produce a rich moist lather that will well prepare your beard for a close comfortable shave.

How to use

The brush bristles should be wet (not soaking) before use. Load the loft with soap or cream and apply to the areas to be shaved, using a strong circular motion. This softens the hairs and also raises them ready for shaving.

We strongly recommend the following aftercare for your brush; When finished always rinse the brush under hot water (especially at the base of the bristles) to remove any remaining soap residue which can result in damage to the bristle and cause early shedding of the loft. The brush should then be stored loft facing down to dry. This can be achieved by using a shaving brush stand and prevents the bristles rotting at the base due to moisture.

Grooming tip

Whilst taking a shower, soak your shaving brush in hot water. When you are finished your shower, both your stubble and brush will be ready for a shave!
